I have this oxidized silver ring that has a cris cross band and it has hung a butterfly. It was a gift from my grandpa, but I have wet a few times and it did not become brown or green left a stain on my fingers, so I wondered if it was a good piece of jewlery or wat? Thnx. . . . Help for alll
It is made of sterling silver? There should be a postage stamp, 925 or silver somewhere. If so, it will not brown or green or anything. It will remain as it is to collect perhaps a bit more oxidation, which you could remove with a polishing cloth.
