One Response to “The Art of Silver Jewellery: From the Minorities of China, in the Golden Triangle, Mongolia and Tibet”

  1. An excellent overview of the silver jewelry of the minority tribes of China, but also addresses of clothing and textiles. The photos are super, with some elements greater than the actual size displayed. This book would be of interest to both collectors and artisans. The items are displayed from the Rene van der Star Collection. This is the same collection in the book Ethnic Jewelry from Africa, Asia and the Pacific Islands presents. Like the latter book, a number of experts on ethnic jewelry contributed to the overall effort, everyone writes in his particular field.
